Festival Bottling 2018

And it tastes oh so well, my Friend!

This year it is BOTTLE MARKET’s 5th anniversary. Hence, we offer a very special bottling – a 20 yr. old Glen Moray single cask. This Scotch is a cask strength single malt edition. It was matured in an ex-bourbon cask, is non-coloured as well as non-chill filtered. Scotland’s finest!

Where to taste it? At the stand of Scotch-Club Bremen and Highland Games.

The alcohol is nicely balanced with most complex flavours. Lots of fruits such as lemon, apricot, and cidery flavours, some salt and herbs arise. You can find hints of the charred cask and clove and beautiful vanilla notes with caramel.

Kicks in powerfully and creamy with green apple, raisins and leathery, wooden notes. Again you can taste the salty Speyside sea. Delicate oak flavours, together with sweet vanilla, pear and a note of cocoa. Pleasantly spicey bitter notes from the cask. Complexe flavours that get earthy and mellow sweet when thinned with water. Surprisingly fruity for it’s age.

Long lasting – spicey, slightly oily with subtle pepper notes and still there is vanilla sweetness and suddenly nutty flavours and again slight hints of smoke.

Price/bottle: € 89

Welcome to the BOTTLE MARKET!

At events where alcohol is served we as organisers have to pay attention to a lot of things.

For a relaxed and enjoyable visit at the BOTTLE MARKET, we listed some points, which are important for you to notice.

  1. The target group is adult customers, consequential the law for protection of children and youth for serving and selling drinks and consuming cigars at our lounge (admittance 18+) will be observed.
  2. Our gastronomic offer provides a good foundation for your tastings. Please make sure to drink enough water inbetween the whisk(e)y tastings for a long enjoyable stay at the BOTTLE MARKET.
  3. Our exhibitors are instructed to stop serving alcohol to obviously drunk people.
  4. In case of a strongly intoxicated person we will make use of our householder’s rights. This person will be expelled from the halls, in order to secure a further peaceful event. In case of an expulsion, you do not have the right to enter the halls again or claim back the entrance fee.
  5. Please note that the bottles and products you bought at the exhibition stands are not destined for on site consumption and therefore this is prohibited.
  6. And remember „After Whisk(e)y driving risky!“. The Bremen Exhibition Centre is located right in the heart of the city and in direct neighbourhood to the main station with it’s public transport system. So the car may stay in the garage.

We appreciate your understanding and wish you a pleasant day with nice contacts, great spirits and a lot of joy.
